Je stream aanpassen
Voordat je begint met streamen, moet je een titel, notificatie en categorie instellen voor je stream.
- De titel is de tekst die vetgedrukt onder je videostream verschijnt.
- Je notificatie is de tekst die naar je volgers wordt gestuurd om ze te laten weten dat je live bent gegaan.
- Choose a Category to make sure your stream shows up in the right section of the site. Setting your category to "Music” will let viewers find your stream in Twitch’s dedicated Music section.
From a Mac or PC, visit your Stream Manager page and click "Edit Stream Info.” From the Twitch mobile app, tap your profile icon in the upper left, then tap "View Dashboard.”

Vanaf een mobiel apparaat:

Make sure you have another device handy (a phone with Twitch app or computer) so you can set your category to "Music” and read and respond to your chat.
Vanaf een Mac/Windows-desktop of -laptop:
Voor de beste geluidskwaliteit kun je streaming-software als Twitch Studio (pc/Mac) of Streamlabs OBS (pc/Mac) downloaden.
Twitch Studio is gemaakt om snel en gemakkelijk je stream op te zetten en live te gaan. De tutorial van Twitch Studio leidt je door de configuratie van je webcam- en audio-invoer.
Een andere software-optie is Streamlabs OBS , waar je een korte tutorial kunt volgen om je Twitch-account te verbinden en je stream op te zetten.
Vanuit een webbrowser:
Wil je graag live gaan zonder extra software te installeren, dan kun je ook rechtstreeks vanuit je webbrowser streamen met
Lightstream Studio
. Met Lightstream kun je gasten met slechts een paar muisklikken uitnodigen voor je stream.
Click "Start Streaming” on the Lightstream site, then choose Twitch from the options provided. You’ll be prompted to log in and authorize your Twitch account.
The tutorial will guide you through adding your camera and audio source; for the cleanest audio, make sure to check disable processing for music sources. Hit the "GO LIVE” button in the top right corner to start streaming.
