This is how Ridley fights are done on my stream.

ALttP Ganon Torch Glitch (Right Torch Stays Lit)

During the second phase of the fight, Ganon will use the "secret technique of Darkness" to make the torches at the bottom of the screen go out. The left torch will always go out first, quickly followed by the right torch. If you relight the left torch before the right torch goes out, the right torch will stay lit for the remainder of the battle.
