What do you play on? / Which controller do you use?

I am currently playing both Oracle-games on an Emulator called "Visual Boy Advance" (VBA). You can find versions of it here.
As controller I use a wired XBox360-USB-one. It's just something i have gotten used to over the time, regardless of what people say ;)

What do you mean with the term "linked game"?

As you might know, there are 2 Oracle-games existing. If you finish one of them you'll get a password to complete the other one with an expanded story (and the true ending). This is what's called a "linked game".
Another basic change apart from this story expansion is the added password-system, which now becomes available. There'll be additional people/animals in the game that'll give you passwords for a specific person in the other game, where you would go and (most of the time) complete a minigame to receive a reward and a password to achieve that reward in the linked game you're currently playing.
Except for the ring-secrets I have to find and talk to those people during my run first (even if I already know the correct password) since it sadly doesn't accept them earlier.
For speedrun-purposes I'm using a password-generator (can be found under this link) to know certain secrets for rings/other stuff beforehand without having to switch games.

Where did you get the thing that shows your inputs?

That little program was made by Sandsky0 who was nice enough to provide me with it after I had been talking about possibly thinking about getting something similar but having no idea how to make/find it. A big thank you goes out to him and you should definitely check him out!
