This is by far my favorite Meta Knight fight in the entire Kirby series. An epic 2 minute endurance fest that does A LOT of things correctly. And here it is, no abilities, no damage taken.

Dodging Magolor Soul's EX Attack

Magolor Soul's EX Attack (which he uses at the start of his Turns Red phase) was successfully evaded. INCLUDING the double sword blow at the end. And this was my 3rd time combatting the attack too.

Why gimping is a gamble

This is a prime example of gimping being a gamble. The Ike here tried to edgeguard me with Counter and then edgehog with Aether. The Counter worked because Link's recovery sucks, but the Aether edgehog failed miserably because I grabbed the edge first and the invincibility frames I got left Ike helpless. There's a reason why I don't bother with edgehogging. I'm not about to risk my stock on something where not doing it doesn't really lose me anything to begin with.

Link 4 stocks Meta Knight w/o projectiles

That's right. Link totaled Meta Knight. It wasn't even the least bit close. Just a JVL 3 stock would have worked for me, too, and here I have an outright 4 stock. At the very least, Link is better than people give him credit for. Either that, Meta Knight is more simply a Wake Up Call Character than anything, or both.
