After being completely outmatched by this boss, I've been on the grind for a few levels. Unfortunately Rolo has to be sacrificed. . .be aware of the near-fatal kitten pounce near the beginning(!)

Dragon Quest II: Hargon/Sidoh Battle

After three or four attempts Sidoh has a more "passive-aggressive" AI. I couldn't get the curse glitch to work and had run out of gold to buy Roland/William proper equipment so you can see the extremely annoying effect in these battles. I wouldn't advise cursing your party until you've maxed out. Of course I encounter a game-breaking glitch on my way to see the ending! :(
