After a bunch of tries with and without the Chance spell, I finally got lucky at level 49.

Dragon Warrior 4 Hero solo -Esturk Battle-

Due to the invisible HP regen on most bosses in this game, Esturk was pretty problematic to kill. After trying a few times around level 33-34, I went for about 290HP so I could cast Lightning 2x then Healall to hopefully do enough damage. I was pretty lucky!

FF13-2, getting HP+25% for monsters early on

It's very easy and inexpensive (2400 gil) to get the HP+25% ability passed on to probably any monster. At the northern and southern section of the 2nd area in the game, ビルジ遺跡 (Bresha Ruins) AF005, run around until you fight the blue/black metallic robot, the イェニチェリ (Pulsework Knight), until it joins. All it takes to learn HP+25% (and max out the monster) are 30 rank 1 monster items (80 gil apiece, so 2400). Then just have the monster you want to have the HP bonus eat or whatever happens!

It really does suck how bad this game looks on my capture card. I didn't die though! First time doing so.
